We have an exciting new opportunity at Lilianfels Resort & Spa. As our new Conference & Events Coordinator, you will be integral in delivering our quality accommodation experience to our guests.

Here's what you'll do
- Qualify new enquiries and create tailored proposals with upsell opportunities.
- Manage administrative tasks, contracts, invoices, and event orders.
- Oversee social events from planning to post-event evaluation.
- Conduct on-site inspections for various event types.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless event logistics.
- Assist in budget management, including cost tracking and reporting.
- Handle registration processes and provide excellent customer service.
- Distribute event materials, collaborate on marketing efforts, and enhance participant engagement.
- Manage on-site logistics, troubleshoot issues, and conduct post-event evaluations.
- Compile event reports, conduct financial reconciliations, and analyse attendee feedback.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role
- A formal degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (Ideal).
- Proven experience in conference and event planning/administration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects within established timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
