This role will be based in the office full time, and is in Sydney’s Inner West City in stunning offices, not too far from Central Station. ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will see you diving into a busy schedule, hitting the ground running from the start. You will assist the Events Manager with planning, logistics, and the execution of various events. This position is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to go permanent.
DUTIES
- Assist the Events Manager with event planning, logistics, and execution
- Book venues, manage suppliers/contractors, and coordinate on-site activities
- Organise and manage event timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Provide updates to stakeholders, staff, and clients
- Support in planning and coordinating two major annual events and other regional events across Australia
- Coordinate various smaller ad-hoc client events throughout the year
- Proven experience in event coordination or a related role
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Team player with a good sense of humour and initiative

It’s important for you to be able to manage deadlines and pressure well, and be able to have a good laugh too. You will report into the Events Manager who works remotely, and so it is essential that you enjoy being in the office to be able to be hands on.
