We are seeking an experienced sales leader for a 12-month parental leave cover to drive our revenue and build strong relationships.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this is a pivotal role in the team, where a self-driven proactive approach is paramount.
You will:
- Drive sales to ensure revenue and conversion targets are achieved for C&E business including Residentials.
- Liaise with the entire operations team to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided.
- Provide quotations for conference and events proposal covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximized.
- Lead the reactive sales team including the overall coordination of events and conferences.
- Host high value client site visits and develop future business pipeline from repeat clients.
- You will be motivated, organized and outgoing by nature with the drive to continually learn and progress your career.
- Strong attention to detail and drive to succeed.
- Extensive experience in hotel Conference sales with a strong commercial acumen.
Qualifications
You will bring:
- Previous sales experience including outbound calling and meeting established KPIs.
- Knowledge of OPERA, Delphi systems (desirable).
- Strong administration and coordination skills, especially time management.
- Hotel experience in Conference & Events or Sales & Marketing highly regarded.
- The ability to find the "yes" in every situation, excellent attention to detail and great customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
A friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation.
