Job description

SEQ is security integrator in the southeast corner of Qld.  We have been in business for over 25 years & have covered the southeast corner from Tweed Heads to Sunshine Coast & out to the Darling Downs, servicing all types of commercial works. 

We’re seeking a highly motivated, self-starter professional Administration person. The ideal candidate can fit into this opportunity & make it their own. This role will see you organizing the Operations/Handover Manuals, SWMS ensuring our documentation is to industry standard.  

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organized, love a challenge & be willing to work in with the team in a way that elevates & streamlines our day-to-day business. 

You will be part of the cornerstone of our success, working with various trades, supervisors, managers & other office staff.  Your role is to assist in the streamlining of operational/safety/handover manual processes. You will provide essential updates keeping our operational staff one step ahead of our client’s needs. 

We seek a person with a can-do attitude, who is ready to take this opportunity. This role can be a 5 day a week 5-hours a day. To begin with.

To succeed in this role, ideally you will have had: 

  • Experience with various construction software.
  • This job will develop into more. 
  • Communicate effectively with our onsite staff. 
  • Reviewing data sheets for each project. 
  • Responsible for Hand Over Manuals. 
  • Create & maintain company policies & procedures as required.
  •  3+ years' experience in a similar role in the Security, Electrical or Construction industry, data/communication, or Fire industry.
  • You may have been or are a contracts administrator in one of the above fields.
  • Skilled in administrational tasks.
  • A willingness to learn & develop on the job skills.
  • Ability to take initiative & solution focused when problems arise.  
  • Strong time management skills. 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize & stay one step ahead.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office software & technology.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other similar technology [would be nice but not a deal breaker]
