What's on offer?
Our Estimating team is looking to employ an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Sales Estimator who will work in a small & engaged team. Our head office is located in Footscray, along the river, and we provide flexibility, tools and equipment to work from home to support work life balance.
Within this role your responsibilities would include:
- Prepare tender documentation and ensure variations are actioned accurately by referring to sales quotes, drawings, engineering and inclusions, ensuring they are finalised in accordance with standards and agreed timeframes.
- Ensure Click Home and Framework databases are updated accurately and within required timeframes by team to ensure adequate job tracking.
- Assist Sales Team with any queries as well as providing fixed site costs, as required.
- Ensure documentation complies with codes, guidelines and preliminary information, developer guidelines where applicable.
- Provide high level customer service to all stakeholders
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a similar role within residential building/construction environment
- Tertiary qualifications in building and construction or equivalent and/or Trade Qualification/Apprenticeship (i.e. carpentry)
- Understanding of general building terminology, building regulations, building codes and various stages of residential building process
- Understanding of the MBAV contract
- Ability to interpret architectural plans
- Understanding of scheduling, forecasting and planning principles within the residential building/construction industry.
- Intermediate computer skills in particular, Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM programs
- Experience with Clickhomes / Framework tender system is an advantage but not essential
