Construction Estimator

City Holdings Australia provides world-leading Construction, Engineering and Facilities Management solutions across multiple locations around the globe providing successful, safe, and sustainable outcomes for our partners.The Opportunity:The Construction Estimator role will offer tender management across multiple fit out, refurbishment & new build construction opportunities around Australia. The main purpose of the Construction Estimator is to successfully engage & respond to tender/ quotation opportunities across the construction sector. The role will manage multiple opportunities where constant improvement is vital. The Construction Estimator will engage, develop, and maintain great relationships with sub-contractors, partners, stakeholders & colleagues inside and outside of City Holdings. The Role:  Estimate of tenders & quotation submissions including tender programs. Engage with sub-contractors & suppliers to negotiate best tender outcomes for City. Manage tender submissions & clarification responses. Work with Business Development & the sales team to seek opportunities, prepare tender response proposals and cost plans. Create/manage the sub-contract data base across all trades. Analyse labour, material, and time requirements for projects.  Develop, understand and manage all aspects of estimating information across a diverse range of projects. To Be Considered: A minimum of two years’ experience in a Commercial Construction Estimating role. Highly skilled in understanding & scoping out RFT/RFQ opportunities. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, In Design, Power Point, Cubit, ProCore, build soft or similar construction operating systems would be considered favourable. Hold an extensive and current sub-contractor data base. Excellent communication skills with ability to develop meaningful customer relations. Ability to adapt and accommodate change. An understanding of timelines and the prioritisation of requirements.
