Salary: Starting at $65,000 annually, depending on experience
Range Workforce Solutions currently have a reputable company seeking highly motivated and organised individuals to join their team as a Construction Project Coordinator. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic Construction Projects across the Greater Geelong, Bellarine, Colac, and Warrnambool areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects in the Greater Geelong, Warrnambool, and Colac regions, including but not limited to contractors, labour, equipment, materials, suppliers, inspectors.
- Facilitate the completion of construction plan take-offs for steel orders and waffle pods.
- Liaise with staff and sub-contractors to ensure a quality product if produced within customer timeframes.
- Schedule termite protection, record pour schedule and communicate any schedule changes as required.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customer representatives, site supervisors, managers and building inspectors ensuring stakeholder interactions.
- Schedule project and operational planning based on future business activity- future planning by working a week in advance.
- Provide information and support to the Operations Manager with regards to job budgets
- Ensure forecast time schedules and actual budgets for projects are sustained (ensuring that materials and equipment are not ordered in excess of project requirements)
- Undertake administrative activities such as developing status reports, entering data and accurate file management.
- Obtain purchase orders for any extra works undertaken.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction management, scheduling, and coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Provide evidence of a COVID vaccination prior to commencing employment unless a medical exemption has been received whereby proof of exemption would be required to be provided.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Some knowledge of concrete operations, processes, and critical timelines is advantageous.
