Construction Project Manager – Industrial Gas Facility

As they expand operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to spearhead the development of a state-of-the-art CO2 production facility in Regional Victoria.

Position Type: Fixed Term Contract, 6 to 9 months.

Location: 200 kms from Melbourne. Accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:

As the Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction and commissioning of our new CO2 production facility. This is a small site and highly technical project looking for someone with a hands on approach. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate contractors, manage relationships and oversee performance and quality to facilitate a seamless construction process.
• Be a go-to person and proactive problem solver to pre-empt and address potential issues.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to the project team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in industrial facilities or similar projects in oil and gas or chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of AS 4000, construction processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
