About the Role:
Prebuilt is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee a number of permanent Modular Construction projects. Ideally, candidates will have prior experience in modular or prefabrication construction with hands-on Project Management experience with lead responsibility to deliver multiple projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage projects from design to Construction completion and hand over, meeting deadlines, budgetary constraints, and specified quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes and secure project approvals.
- Develop and maintain construction schedules, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to timelines, experienced using Microsoft projects.
- Monitor and control project finances, providing accurate reporting on financial performance, completing the monthly cost report, and participating in the review with leadership.
- Lead the procurement activities for the project needs and negotiate and let all subcontracts.
- Manage subcontractors professionally to foster long-term relationships.
- Interpret building plans, regulations, and codes of practice to direct work progress.
- Ensure compliance with construction documents, regulations, and specifications.
- Direct, assist, and support project staff, Contract administrators, and supervisors.
About You:
We are seeking a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for construction. The ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management or Construction Management, or equivalent experience in construction disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector
- Proficiency in delivering conventional structures projects & commercial projects between $1M-$10M (design & construct knowledge/experience a bonus)
- Knowledge of project management principles, building codes, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Experience in the application of Hammertech will be welcome.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office suite, and Microsoft Project, and skills in the use of the Procore Project Management system will be welcome.
- Commitment to delivering quality customer service efficiently and effectively.
