Opportunity:
Silverstone Recruitment are seeking an experienced and qualified Construction Supervisor for one of our key clients.
You will be responsible for leading a team of qualified trades to build new camp accommodations and rebuilding existing Rio Tinto camps across the Pilbara.
We are offering 2:1 & 2:2 roster's 12-hour days paid minimum, long term/on-going assignments, and the opportunity to secure permanent employment with our client. Please note this position is for an immediate start.
Key requirements for success:
- Carpentry Trade qualified or equivalent experience essential.
- Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor on FIFO assignments.
- Extensive Civil and Mining experience is a must
- Previous experience with commercial accommodation/camp rebuilds, kitchen projects and new construction builds.
- Experience managing various camp trades (plumbers, carpenters, electricians, painters, trade assistants).
- Ideally hold Rio Tinto Induction Cards (Iron Ore Essentials, Lockholders, Personal Isolation) or willing to obtain.
- Clear, professional, and effective communication skills.
- Proactive and positive - CAN DO attitude.
- High attention to detail.
- Meet pre-employment medical and drug screen criteria prior to commencement.
