AddressEcoMarines Foundation is growing, and we're looking for a Program Coordinator to assist with delivering our programs.
EcoMarines Foundation is a Queensland based not-for-profit organization focused on marine, freshwater and terrestrial education, and conservation. We empower early learners and school students to become conservation leaders through our free award-winning programs.
EcoMarines provides a framework for collaborative conservation. Students and teachers connect with other schools and local businesses, and learn from Traditional Custodians, scientists, and industry experts through innovative activities and events.
We are seeking an energetic and self-driven Program Coordinator to help establish the EcoMarines schools’ program in early learning centres, primary and secondary schools in Southeast Queensland.
This role will work closely with the schools (including presenting at assemblies and events, and being the point of contact for teachers), and to assist our team with events, reporting, admin, and website development.
This is an entry level role that would be great for anyone with an attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and time-management skills! Bonus points for caring about environment and community.
CONDITIONS
- Part time (20 - 24 hours/week)

ABOUT YOU
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and writing skills, with exceptional stakeholder communication skills
- Experience and demonstrated ability to deliver programs using a range of strategies and technologies
- Tertiary level qualification/s in teaching or environmental science and sustainability are desirable
- A sincere interest in working with children, youth, and the community
- A commitment to environmental outcomes and helping young people to achieve those outcomes
- Current Queensland Driver’s License and own vehicle
- A current Blue Card
