The Team

At the AEC you will develop strong connections with colleagues and supportive networks, as we all work to deliver an impartial and independent electoral system with high integrity.

The Opportunities

The AEC is seeking motivated and resilient people, with the ability to contribute to organisational outcomes and work collaboratively, while supporting the Leadership Team. The team also provides support to electors, responds to public enquiries via phone and email.

The Enrolment Supervisor role is responsible for key event-based projects as well as processing enrolment transactions, assurance and maintenance activities. You will contribute to election planning and delivery while supervising and providing operational support to small teams.

You will be required to build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships, including liaising with stakeholders to assist in resolving moderately complex issues. Project Officers will have the ability to conduct analysis and research and report on findings with the ability to contribute new ideas and identify opportunities for business efficiency improvement.

Project Officers will support scheduling, venue booking, and monitoring completion of training delivered to Temporary Employment Workforce across a dispersed geographical area and will also support the procurement processes of the work area including using templates to initiate procurement and reporting activities.

To excel you'll have:

  • Resilience and positivity, with the ability to respond and adapt to changing operational environments, being a self-starter and using initiative.
  • Confidence and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and negotiate with team members, business areas and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • A high level of integrity and motivation, with the ability to make evidence-based and effective decisions.
  • A demonstrated ability to work autonomously, and a strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team to achieve positive results and support the AEC’s strategic direction.

Eligibility
