Role Description
This is a on-site role located in various sites in Sydney, NSW for Remedial Technician, Leading Hands, and Labourers. The Remedial Technician, Leading Hands, and Labourers will be responsible for carrying out structural remediation projects within the built environment. This includes assisting with structural repair activities such as concrete remediation, waterproofing, and bonding of various reinforcing materials. They will also be responsible for undertaking general labouring activities associated with the project, and for providing technical guidance to less experienced members of the team.
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience working in a structural remediation role
- Experience with concrete remediation and waterproofing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with bonding of reinforcing materials such as carbon fibre, FRP, etc.
- Experience working at heights and in confined spaces
- Experience with heavy machinery such as excavators, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.
- White card and other relevant tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Elevated Working Platform Operator etc.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
