The opportunity:
As the Consultant - Competency & Learning, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that help employees develop the skills and competencies needed for their roles. You'll analyse skill gaps, create learning content, coordinate training sessions, and assess program effectiveness to ensure employees are equipped to excel in their jobs.
The role is based at our Brisbane CBD location, and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.
- The ability to create engaging, effective, and interactive blended learning solutions for end users undertaking technical-facilitated and digital learning.
- Conducting training sessions, workshops, and presentations to help employees develop their skills, knowledge, and competencies.
- Collaborating with HR departments, managers, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure training programs align with organisational goals.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement.

- Knowledge of Australian Quality Framework (AQF) Standards, Vocational Education and Training (VET) Levels, and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements.
- A strong understanding of Adult Learning Principles and the Learner Experience with a TAE16 qualification or degree in Adult Learning highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience developing SCORM-compliant courses using e-Learning tools such as Articulate Storyline 360.
- Essential: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.
