Casual Specialist Consultant - Facility & Asset Management
We are seeking expressions of interest from retired and semi-retired people who have prior experience in the facility and asset maintenance and management areas and are interested in a part time opportunity to earn a good money in between their current retirement plans.
We are looking for ex facility or asset managers, maintenance engineers, building trades with the practical experience to conduct a condition assessment and a identify a forward works plan and budget that can actually be implemented. In addition, we are looking for your knowledge on the proper information to safely operate and maintain a facility covering essential services and critical equipment and systems.
As some of our services are world leading, we will provide training to the successful applicants. Our software is simple and all you need is the ability to navigate a spreadsheet and an online application.
The role can involve travel nationally.

In this role you will be responsible for a wide range of specialist consulting services covering asset and maintenance planning, builder’s O&M manuals, training, specialist system implementation (Defence IBIS/GEMS/BIM) and general consulting. The following skills/experience are essential.
- Relevant Industry Experience in the building, asset and facility management sectors.
- Sound skills in word, excel and internet applications.
- Sound capability in client relations and project management
- Ability to think outside the box and provide sound common-sense solutions.
- Have good written and verbal skills.
- Baseline Security Clearance (if Applicable)
Desirable Skills
- Formal qualifications in facility management or related construction/design disciplines including trades.
- Previous experience in the building, asset and facility management sectors
- Experience in development of O&M Manuals, maintenance plans, condition surveys, works delivery.
The following areas of responsibility are defined for the role.
- To undertake the delivery of WebFM services to clients including but not limited to – Consulting services, Training, On-site implementations and other duties as required
- Lead and project manage a team of consultants to deliver a range of client outcomes.
- Collaborate and contribute to the firm's product and service development aspects as needed or directed including being trained and training others.
- Other duties as directed.
