• This is a rare opportunity to work as a General Medicine Consultant in a hospital that understands the value of flexibility and work-life balance.

The General Medicine Department consists of eight medical teams. We offer a comprehensive service, seeing patients from the time of Emergency Department referral and maintaining continuity of care until discharge. A broad case mix can be expected, with support from Infectious Diseases, Neurology and Stroke, Geriatrics, Cardiology and Respiratory medicine.
The department is a level 1 BPT. Medical teams comprise a registrar and two junior doctors. JHC is a teaching hospital involved in medical student teaching and supervision.

The successful applicant/s for this position will join our team involved in assessing and managing both public and private patients. Part-time/sessional roles are available.
Salary range, depending on experience - Year 1-9 Consultant (Total package range $336,466-$427,888 pro rata).
There are also great opportunities to develop your private practice due to the co-location of the private and public hospital at Joondalup Health Campus
Essential Criteria:
Current AHPRA registration.
Fellowship of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Physicians.
