Form of workCornerstone Medical Recruitment is looking for Consultant Psychiatrists to support in locum capacity in Canberra.
Role Overview:
There are various blocks available for the General Adult Inpatient Unit and the Alcohol and Drugs Services.
As a Locum Psychiatrist you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, providing comprehensive psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing monitoring and support to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Current specialist AHPRA registration in Psychiatry
- Experience working as a Psychiatrist, preferably in a hospital setting in Australia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Benefits:
- Competitive locum rate up to $2800/day
- 3 months locum. A shorter period of minimum 6 weeks would be accepted as well.
