This opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for providing key insights to TPG Telecom business leaders. You will work across our market research tracking and ad hoc market research projects to ensure that the business is always operating with world class insights. The ability to identify key business opportunities and respond imaginatively and creatively to a variety of challenges will be key to your success in this role. You will work closely alongside the brand and marketing managers for TPG's core brands Vodafone, TPG, iiNet and Lebara.
You will also liaise and create effective collaborative relationships across TPG Telecoms' broader Consumer Division, including with the product and sales teams. Additionally, there will be opportunities to work with TPG Telecom's growing Enterprise, Government and Wholesale division. Responsibilities

- Liaise with partners and business teams to understand business issues, and provide appropriate responses using data
- Work with internal stakeholders and agencies to scope research needs and questions, including questionnaire design and aligning research outputs with business needs
- Manage agency partnerships, establishing strong working relationships, understanding their capabilities, and facilitating their engagement in procuring services to Vodafone in a cost effective and timely manner
- Coordinate, prepare and ensure timely delivery and accuracy of research projects, materials, and reporting
- Interrogate market research data sources to understand key issues and trends among customers and non-customers
- Align and integrate the quantitative and qualitative information into insights packs & forums and collaborate with other customer analytics projects.
- Develop presentations and report communications, which include recommendations for actions based on the analysis
- Contribute to an insights-driven marketing environment that enables more targeted acquisition and retention strategies
You will come from a highly numerate research background, with agency and/or client side experience. You will be comfortable in communicating evidence-led, and potentially challenging insights to a variety of stakeholders up to and including C-level executives. This role will have a strong focus on interrogating data and building out our reporting capabilities within the insights team, but will also have ownership of managing research projects, plus building agency and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to use market research DisplayR, software Q, SPSS or similar to interrogate survey data efficiently.
- A love for data and getting into the detail to build presentation decks and reports that are clear, simple to understand and grounded in finding the why.
- Skilled at leveraging brand health tracking data to answer/address/identify complex opportunities and challenges.
- Advocate for the customer voice in strategic decision making.
- Strong relationship skills to run cross-functional programs.
- Good cultural fit in a dynamic and fluid business.
- An individual with energy and drive to succeed and who understand the importance of stakeholder management and setting realistic expectations.
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Task and results focussed, passionate, curious, and self-motivated.
- A Market research and insights professional with minimum of 3-5yrs experience.
