About the role

As a Contact Centre Operator, you are responsible to cover all aspects of customer service/freight solutions/administration/operation component.

What you'll do

  • Provide operational and systems support for the Customer Operations Scheduling team.
  • Ensure customer transactions (Call-Off's) are completed each day and follow-up operations teams for POD
  • Share information and reports with nominated internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate deliveries of customers products to their end users in line with required timeframes and service
  • Schedule various Global Express and external resources to provide a consistent and reliable experience for the involved stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding deliveries in progress when queried by customers, end users, or Global Express management
  • Ensuring that all calls are answered in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Using on-line systems to access data and answer customer queries within pre-determined service times.
  • Entering customer requests/queries on-line. Documenting and distributing clear, concise, and appropriate technical support to customers as required.
  • Liaising with other internal divisions to provide assistance/answers for customers
  • Receive inbound and make outbound phone calls and emails to communicate delivery information with customers and end users.
  • Enter relevant information into various CRM/ERP/TMS systems from Global Express and its Clients to correctly invoice and track deliveries throughout the process.
  • Assisting Drivers with queries and/or passing them to the correct department, in a timely manner.

What you'll bring

  • Proficiency in data entry and time management.
  • Computer literacy/knowledge of MS Office computer applications.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Previous experience in the transport industry is highly advantageous.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal and excellent telephone manner.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain excellent relations with senior management, various business units, and regulatory bodies both internally and externally
