About the Role:

Join our dynamic team! We're seeking a creative individual to fill a crucial role reporting to the Member Communications and Engagement Manager. As a key player collaborating closely with the Media Director, you'll be instrumental in delivering captivating content suitable for diverse audiences and purposes across various platforms. Your primary focus will involve proactively identifying, developing, and delivering engaging content for both internal and external channels of CFA, spanning videos, photos, and written materials.

This role entails overseeing the entire content production process, including the creation of engaging videos, images, written material, and graphics for CFA's digital platforms, both internally and externally. The primary focus is on crafting compelling narratives that simplify technical information and resonate with diverse audiences. Additionally, the position involves contributing to the strategic development of CFA's member, social, and digital engagement platforms, such as the CFA News & Media site and social media channels, drawing on expertise in social media and the media industry to create timely and relevant content.

Proactive identification of stories and opportunities to positively promote CFA through various content formats is crucial, alongside providing recommendations for optimising content delivery across different mediums and channels. Moreover, representing CFA with authoritative and accurate information while adhering to organisational processes and policies is essential. Building strong collaborative relationships with regional staff, volunteers, and executives is also key to offering communication support and expert advice on digital communications strategies across the organisation. 

About You:

  • End-to-end production of engaging content, including videos, images, written material and graphics for platforms which promote CFA.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying stories and opportunities to promote an organisation.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships and provide timely advice.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and proven experience in liaising with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. 
  • Proven excellent written communication skills, and organisational skills including copywriting in a variety of styles to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to tell a story by creating engaging and relevant content for a variety of member audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of social media management and understanding of the news cycle.
  • Knowledge of social media management and understanding of the media news cycle.
