Content Manager

You will be the company storyteller with a love for writing, video and communication in all forms. You will have a journalist’s mindset, as well as an obsession with written content performance, content management, and analytics. 

About the role:

• Own the content strategy that allows for consistent publication of the types of content that drives revenue and significantly impacts sales,
• Work closely with sales team to identify content topics and develop editorial calendar,
• Publicising three or more new pieces of content weekly; text (blog articles), video, or audio (podcasts),
• Interviewing internal subject matter experts for content,
• Create internal marketing materials as required,
• Rely on content analytics and reporting to inform decisions, 
• Lead search engine optimization (SEO) efforts for website and content,  
• Social media for community engagement and long-term content promotion,
• Premium content production, including eBook's, white papers, webinars, 
• Company email marketing efforts, including newsletters and automated workflows,
• Creating landing pages and conversion opportunities for lead generation,
• General website updates and enhancements, 
• Manage editorial schedules, deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Primarily, you will have an obsession for content performance, reporting, and analytics with an empathy understanding the customer.

• Completed a bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations, or related communications field,
• Possess a marketing and publishing mindset, a customer-first mentality, 
• Love to write, possess impeccable writing and editorial skills, 
• A great storyteller using words, images, or audio, to draw an audience,
• Passionate about new technology tools, usage of these tools within your own blogs and social media outreach,
• Possess strong project management skills, highly organised and goal orientated,
• Familiar with the principles of marketing,
• Possess incredible people skills.
