About the opportunity
The University of Sydney is currently looking for a Content Producer who will work under the guidance of the Lead Nurture and Conversion Coordinator. The main objective of this role is to create content that supports the staff at Sydney Future Students in achieving their student recruitment goals. The Content Producer will be responsible for designing and distributing email marketing templates, event banners, and other digital assets to guide students through the sales funnel, from the initial awareness stage to accepting an offer.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- design a variety of promotional materials such as email marketing templates, large-scale event signage, PowerPoint presentations, pdf downloads and other digital assets
- ensure all promotional material created adhere to the University style and brand guidelines
- collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure email templates and signage align with external-facing content
- use email marketing design tools like Campaign Monitor template builder and Beefree to create templates that engage the target audience.
- address display glitches in email provider clients to elevate user experience and ensure seamless functionality.
- utilise universal UX design principles and thorough testing methodologies to elevate the overall performance of email marketing strategies.
- provide general administrative services and operational support to the Lead Nurture and Conversion team.
About you
- has tertiary design qualifications or similar prior work experience in graphic design, either in an in-house design team or at a design agency.
- experience in utilising email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Klayvio, and BeeFree to create engaging email marketing templates
- has advanced skills and practical on the job experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office programs to create large scale event collateral, PowerPoint presentations and other promotional material.
- advanced skills in creating responsive templates that adapt to different screen sizes and devices, optimizing user experience.
- a basic understanding of HTML design principles
- excellent administrative skills including managing files and image banks, managing templates in email marketing platforms and updating communication schedules.
Desirable:
Higher education experience with working knowledge of the student recruitment lifecycle and customer journey.
