ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Content Team Leader at Shockbyte, you will be responsible for managing a creative team mixed with video producers and graphic designers. It will be imperative that you foster a collaborative team environment, and keep your team on track to meet goals and deadlines.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage a team of video producers and graphic designers
- Foster collaboration between graphic designers and video producers to create cohesive multimedia content
- Assess performance and implement strategies to improve KPIs
- Collaborate with other marketing teams to align with broader campaigns and initiatives
- Conduct regular team meetings discussing projects, goals, challenges, etc.
- Review videos and graphics before publishing
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
- Research and propose changes to current utilized marketing strategies via business cases.
- Identify best practices for all social media to improve performance
- Create and revise documentation around procedures used
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies
- Drive your team to meet goals by promoting a positive team-culture
REQUIRED CRITERIA
- Located within a timezone between UTC-9 to UTC+3.
- Three or more years of experience in managing a creative team.
- Well-versed experience in graphic design and video editing
- Familiar with best practices for content marketing
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
DESIRABLE TRAITS
- Relevant degree(s) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
