Content Writer And Customer Service

Sybiz Software is a developer and marketer of business software solutions for Medium Enterprises, with a strong dealer network. A vacancy has become available in our Marketing team, responsible for producing and guiding distribution of a variety of content to further the reach and reputation of the organisation. In addition, the role will entail a Customer Service element to assist with understanding the needs of those consuming the content. The proportion of time spent on Customer Service duties will increase when colleagues are on leave.

The successful candidate will be creative, driven, and willing to take ownership of individual matters to completion.

Tasks include:

Content:

• Creating content for a range of externally facing resources, including our website, newsletters, the “What’s New” page for each of the software’s releases, social media, webinars to customers and our dealer network, and more
• Contributing to our website to the effect of ensuring an efficient user experience, with resources being available and easy to access

Customer Service:

• Process transactions for customers, and answer customer enquiries relating to those transactions
• Answer inbound calls; either taking ownership of matters to completion, or redirecting the enquiry to the appropriate department
• In conjunction with other departments, assist our dealer network with their tasks, including relating to licensing, sales quotations, software support, and similar.
• Via email, dealing with a wide range of customer queries, including in relation to the above items

General:

• Working with other departments within the company when needed, including (but not limited to) sales, support and marketing

Required skills / experience:

• Average or greater general IT literacy including strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail and strong English language communication skills, particularly in a writing context
• Ability to manage time well and work both independently, and in a collaborative environment
• Prior experience in marketing and / or content writing; a corresponding degree will also be highly valued

Desired (‘Nice to have’) skills / experience:

• Marketing experience in the software industry in particular would be valued significantly
• Experience with accounting, ERP, and / or payroll software specifically; experience with the Sybiz suite specifically is desired, but not required
• Prior experience with the hosting of webinars (particularly with Microsoft Teams), and / or the administration side of website management (particularly with Kentico)

Flexibility:

• This is a full-time or near full-time position (minimum 0.8 FTE). Further, after a minimum of three months in the office, the option to work from home two days out of five is available.
