Contract Administrator

Design & Build are currently working with an established Group with over 100 years of experience delivering a diverse range of projects. They are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator who has a strong skill set delivering projects in the Industrial, Building & Mining sectors.To be successful in this role you will either be an experienced Contract Administrator, or have significant recent experience as a Project Administrator (5+ years).Your Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant Contracts Admin or Project Administration experience
• Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
• Autonomy to work individually and as a part of a team
• Understanding of construction practices and processes
• The ability to write a detailed scope of works
• Intimate knowledge of Qld Construction legislation
• Knowledge of environmental management responsibilities
• Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills
• Must have Australian experience

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Contractual dispute resolution
• Heavily involved in the procurement process
• Prepare subcontractor documents
• Monthly preparation and presentation of project reports
• Financial monitoring and planning
• Preparing and presenting progress claims
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Adhere and value safety principles and practices
