Our client is actively recruiting for a Contract Manager to manage key contracts with various mining operators. This is a permanent role with plenty of growth opportunity in line with business expansion.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to manage multiple contracts simultaneously ensuring all contracts comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts
- End to end contract management from initial drafting to final execution and closure
- Maintenance of contract management system
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders
- Review of financial and operational targets for the contract
- Responsible for contract variations, claims and disputes
- Drive and improve safety culture
The Requirements
- A relevant tertiary degree
- Minimum of 10 years in a similar role within resources
- Strong understanding and experience of contract management
- Strong commercial, financial and business acumen
- Excellent leadership experience
- The ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
