The Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will deliver the Cert IV Training & Assessment - TAE40122 and provide educational and technical support to participants to enable them to achieve their full educational potential.
This contract role will require you to deliver face-to-face at various training sites across Sydney when required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist (when requested) in preparing assessment tasks appropriate to each unit of competency
Assist (when requested) in preparing learning and assessment material according to the requirements of each unit and the Training Package
Ensure all assessment tasks are assessed to the current standard
Ensure each participant has been inducted into a training course and the participant has signed the participant induction
Advise participants of the RPL process and who to contact for support
Complete the recommendations report for both operational and compliance
Provided opportunities for assessing competency as frequently as possible
Provide participant support for any re-assessment
Provide support to participants who have difficulties with elements of the course
Regularly meet with other trainers/RTO staff as per scheduled meetings
Maintain and update professional development activities
Participate in validation and moderation as required
The ideal candidate will have:
Must hold a Diploma in Vocational Education & Training
Training and assessment experience in delivering nationally accredited and recognised courses
Passionate about delivering quality training, learning, and developing others
Commitment to quality training and assessment within VET and compliance processes
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
An experienced trainer with excellent delivery and facilitation techniques
