About the Role
We are looking for an Experienced Contractor Supervisor to join our team at our Kwinana Processing Plant on a permanent basis.
The Contract Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Coordinator and will be accountable for overseeing the execution of critical maintenance activities by contractors and ensuring that compliance and delivery is to contract.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider maintenance team to lead the management, coordination and safe execution of services provided by contractors onsite.
- Coordinates contractor activities including permitting and scheduling to support the delivery of the Operations and Maintenance plan.
- Manages the daily work schedule for all contracted works, including overseeing longer duration contractor maintenance tasks.
- Drives performance and reports on contractor KPI’s.
- Ensures contractor activities align with Tronox Values & Behaviours, and with Tronox processes/procedures.
- Ensures contractor activities comply with regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Engaging key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide scopes of work and details of future CAPEX expenditure, as part of the CAPEX planning process.
About you
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Contractor Supervisor within the mining industry would be desirable.
- Mechanical Trade Qualifications (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyse and interpret a broad range of information and present workable solutions to a range of problems.
- Evident knowledge of plant maintenance requirements, including preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Experience with SAP or similar computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Demonstrated ability to organise and manage multiple contractor/s at any given point.
- You are collaborative, process driven, and results focused with a demonstrated track record in mentoring and coaching others to drive change and achieve results.
