- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider maintenance team to lead the management, coordination and safe execution of services provided by contractors onsite.
- Coordinates contractor activities including permitting and scheduling to support the delivery of the Operations and Maintenance plan.
- Drives performance and reports on contractor KPI's.
- Ensures contractor activities align with Tronox Values & Behaviours, and with Tronox processes/procedures.
- Ensures contractor activities comply with regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Engaging key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide scopes of work and details of future CAPEX expenditure, as part of the CAPEX planning process.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Contractor Supervisor within the mining industry would be desirable.
- Mechanical Trade Qualifications (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyse and interpret a broad range of information and present workable solutions to a range of problems.
- Evident knowledge of plant maintenance requirements, including preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Experience with SAP or similar computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Demonstrated ability to organise and manage multiple contractor/s at any given point.
- You are collaborative, process driven, and results focused with a demonstrated track record in mentoring and coaching others to drive change and achieve results.
