About the opportunity
The Contracts Administrative Assistant will undertake administrative tasks to manage multiple suppliers on site for waste management.
Duties
- There are multiple waste vendors, this role supports the manager in managing these vendors
- Coordinate collections of waste– directing and coordinating of pickups
- Hand over documentation for the driver to sign, be the point of contact
- Monthly reporting – pulling together information from vendors
- It would be ideal if the resource could drive some efficiencies
- Coordinate with suppliers to move bins (person won’t move bins themselves, but person needs to coordinate this process with the vendors)
- Check quality of cleanliness – will be walking through the site quite a lot
- Check invoices
- Make calls to suppliers for the purpose of coordinating of tasks
- Have at least 6 months prior experience in an Administration position
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills
- Be a people person, work well with others
- Needs to be able to physically navigate the site to do inspections
- Highly organised
- Can do attitude
