Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator located on the Gold Coast or looking to move to the area. This business, currently with over 100 full-time staff have a successful track record of designing, developing and building award winning luxury apartments on the Gold Coast. Due to another project coming online on top of a buoyant workload they are looking to recruit a strong senior level Contracts Administrator to work on a 20 storey, $60M development located at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Project Manager and alongside another Contracts Administrator, based on site at Main Beach, you will be responsible for the following in the following tasks;
- Contract management
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Letting of Contracts
- Contract procurement & negotiations
- Construct (D&C) projects
- Project Coordination
- Assess progress claims and subcontract payments
- Sub-Contract Contract Variations
- Preparing and submitting variations to the client.
To be suitable for this position, it is anticipated you will have the following;
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator working on high value unit and commercial projects
- Must have worked for builders / builder developers in Australia
- Degree in Construction management or Engineering preferable
- D&C experience ideal
- Unit project experience is highly desirable
- Worked for reputable, established, systems driven contractors.
- A strong communicator, with good written and verbal skills.
- Will reside on the Gold Coast, or close by commutable areas
