You will be hardworking and enthusiastic, responsible for responsible for working within all stages of projects. The Contract Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the construction team with the management of all general contract administration including expense and budget administration activities, documentation management, project communication and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting to a Project Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly for projects
- Monitor progress of projects to ensure they are running within the set deadlines & budget limitations
- Generate progress reports
- Preparation of MS Project Gantt Chart Programmes
- Assist in the development and management of comprehensive tender reviews and provide recommendations for tender package award
- Support the development and administration of HSEQ procedures
You must be capable, organised and adaptable, being able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and professionally. You will be an experienced project controller, with the following skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- A positive can-do attitude
- The ability to learn
Previous Experience
- Previous experience in Contract Administration, Scheduling, Project Management, Cost Control/Estimating is preferred but not essential.
- Appreciation of sophisticated business systems
- Being a natural seeker
- Extensive experience in coordinating the delivery of multiple technical projects
- Previous experience managing the processes and maintaining records for project related contract staff
- Good working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suite
Education
Relevant tertiary qualification and / or relevant experience is preferred.
