About the role...
We are searching for a full time Purchasing Administrator on a 12 month contract. This role will accurately purchase & track production order for all styles in our global divisions. Your day to day responsibilities include;
- Place sample and bulk production orders with Rip Curl suppliers for all styles whether global or regional under the global division. This includes raising purchase orders, tracking production and ensuring the on time hand over from supplier. You will work closely with the Product Developer on any style issues that may cause delays to shipment.
- Review daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal reporting for supplier production tracking and communicate production updates to the global product teams
- Daily communication with domestic and international suppliers ensuring clear writing communication is maintained
- Completing stock shortages report for the Australian warehouse and follow up to ensure minimal impact to the Australian business
- Supporting Finance to ensure the on time and accurate payment of supplier invoices for all production
You will have an understanding and have worked within the production process. Having a supply chain, retail or customer service background you will have the ability to juggle your multiple purchasing responsibilities. You will have excellent excel skills, maintain a high level of data accuracy and be able to demonstrate this experience within a purchasing function.
