McCosker are looking for a suitably skilled, professional Contracts Administrator to join our team based in Brisbane, Queensland. This role may require FIFO to remote project sites in Queensland / Northern Territory as part of an ongoing roster.
As the Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing all aspects of the project contractual obligations on behalf of the Company to ensure all parties fulfil the directives and requirements under the contract. This includes supporting the project and tendering teams to interpret, review, and negotiate variations to contract conditions and other support when required.
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Qualification in business administration, project management or legal studies and or equivalent years of relevant experience
- Expert knowledge and experience in contract administration
- Experience reviewing and negotiating contract variations
- Experience in purchasing / procurement processes
- Comprehensive understanding of project cost analysis
- Expertise in communication, influencing and negotiation
- Strong analytical skills in the interpretation of contract conditions
- Advanced written and verbal reasoning skills to prepare and interpret project documentation
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals
- Experience in contributing to project design and implementation
- Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
- General Construction Induction (white card/ blue card)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret and apply knowledge of contractual conditions to support implementation of client program.
- Review of tender contracts and generation of tender departures for management review.
- Foster effective relationships and project communications with clients, project team, and other parties.
- Facilitate the effective implementation and monitoring of external products and services to meet project requirements.
- Oversee effective implementation of contract administration processes.
- Participate in policies and procedures, including work health and safety.
