About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator, in this role you will report to the Project or Operations Manager with a key focus in compiling project budgets, cost control, forecasting, progress claims both lump sum and cost reimbursable and financial reporting.
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
Will include preparation and management of progress claims, cost forecasting, monthly reporting, subcontracts, change management, client liaising and reporting, of all aspects of successfully won projects.
This will include increasing the awareness, identification and implementation of effective controls around commercial and contractual risk. This will extensively include involvement regarding subcontractors and Claims such as Extension of Time claims and variation claims however candidate must be solution and strategy focussed to enable delivery required whilst the Company’s interests are protected.
You will have:
- At least 3 years contracts administration experience in a building industry with site experience,
- Significant customer and Supplier relationship management experience.
- Strong time management and organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to produce, disseminate and understand information in project environment.
- Strong Negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills are desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organisation.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, and Project is critical.
- Previous budget management and process auditing experience is highly regarded.
- Provide quality timely analytical information to senior management using variance analysis, cost models and research to assist decision making and forecasts.
- Issue project change orders / variations in accordance with Sun Engineering’s policies.
- Provide fortnightly and monthly Cost / Actuals Reporting
- Provide basic Admin tasks i.e. timesheet submission.
- Available for project work
- Must be willing to travel o/s if required.
- Previous Project work an advantage but not essential
