ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Contract Development Officer is a member of the Procurement team and is responsible for delivery of contract development. The role proactively engages with teams across the organisation and is responsible for identifying opportunities for service improvement.
If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to chat:
- Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant Certificate IV and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education /training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders to achieve satisfactory outcomes to complex issues and work well under pressure.
- An understanding of good corporate governance practices, including relevant legislation particularly as it relates to contracts administration.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and initiative and experience in developing and implementing efficient and effective business systems with diverse requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in providing effective and fit for purpose advice.
- Demonstrated advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, and excellent attention to detail.
- Competent in the use of a variety of software to support work outcomes such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Dynamics CRM.
