The Role
We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team. This full-time position is located in Horsham preferred or located in Laverton. Reporting to the Business Manager - Inroads this busy role will see you responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks including, contracts administration, job costings, system administration, site visits & other functions to support our Operational Team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collate & maintain contract documentation including dockets, supervisor reports, lot packs, safety records, employee records & other records generated during the daily operations of the business
- Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing contractual correspondence
- Monthly reporting on project performance concerning targets, objectives, and programs
- Raise purchase orders & approve invoices including reconciling dockets & material deliveries to invoices
- Ensure job costing & accurate postings to the general ledger
- Daily cost tracking & data entry for all works
- Ensure accurate claims & invoices are completed in line with contract requirements
- Investigate unpaid claims by the client to establish responsibility based on contract provisions or onsite errors
- Other duties as required
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar roles and/or hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Advanced Excel/Word skills
- Previous experience in the civil construction industry - highly regarded
- A strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Effective organisational & time management skills
- Good oral & written communication skills
- Customer focused
