- Salary: $84,522 to $94,003 - ASO5 - Full Time / Term Contract up to 3 Years
Overview:
The position is responsible for providing effective, efficient and innovative contracting support to the New Women's and Children's Hospital (New WCH) Project. The role includes undertaking a range of procurement and contracting support services including:
- Coordinating the development and preparation of relevant tender documentation;
- Establishing and coordinating contract related processes and protocols;
- Coordination of document reviews including trade package reviews;
- Prepare briefs, agendas, minutes, contract management documentation, and reports to a range of stakeholders within the required deadlines;
- Monitoring and reviewing procurement and contract administration processes and procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement and implementation of best practice;
- Participating in a range of contract management activities including pre and post tender meetings, monitoring of contracts, financial payment management, progress payments and reporting and the management of records and databases;
- Providing specialist advice, direction and assistance on procurement and contract management practices to project members;
- Provide advice on the performance of contractors, including working closely with internal stakeholders including those responsible for financial and legal functions;
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, that foster ongoing positive relationships and promote proactive communication and resolutions.
