Control Chemist.The
Control Chemist position will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn't require close supervision. Previous related experience is preferred but not essential. This role works on a continuous shift roster (days and nights) included weekend work and some overtime may be required.The role is primarily responsible for performing routine analysis for Molasses & by-products. The incumbent will also be expected to conduct other analysis as required. Accurate data must be entered in a timely manner as per a required schedule. These positions are also responsible for performing checks on laboratory equipment and systems, cleaning, and maintaining records.
The OpportunityThe ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent time management skills
- Great communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Team Work - work effectively within a team
- Ability to achieve competency in a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills
