The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Control & Instrumentation- Designer , who will be responsible for leading medium sized FEED and Detailed engineering projects involving instrumentation and control discipline efforts. You will need to be strong communicator, attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will undertake the following duties:
- Project specific codes, standards and regulations and specifications that apply to Automation Project Automation Deliverables
- Project quality management system and procedures
- Automation work flowProject Automation database (e.g. Smart Plant).
- Piping & Instrument drawings (P&IDs)
- Modeling of offline instruments, Junction box, Air manifold, Local panel etc.
- 3D Modeling Clash check and resolution
- JB grouping
- Preparation of instrumentation location plans
- Preparation of fire and gas location layout
- Preparation cable routing layout
- Preparation Tray routing layout
- Preparation of Hookup / Installation drawings
- Assist with as-building deliverables
5-10 years of design experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry. Candidates having experience in Engineering office of Reputed Consulting Engineering. Companies preferably in the field of Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas will be preferred.
Software Experience :
- 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Micro station, Smart PLANT, PDS, AutoPLANT
- Other project-specific software tools
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Diploma in Instrumentation/ITI
- International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices that apply to Automation.
- Basic awareness of quality management system and procedures
- General understanding of project management and control procedures
