THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED IN ADELAIDE, SYDNEY OR BRISBANE.
What you will do:
- Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations as detailed in the relevant RACI matrix.
- Lead our "zero harm" safety culture by role modelling safe work practices and ensuring all safety and environmental obligations are fulfilled.
- Demonstrate leadership by systemising Project Controls, Contracts Administration, Cost Planning into Projects systems and processes in accordance with the IMS.
- Provide support for programme integration, governance, risk and change management and Project Controls best practices
- Provide advice and consult on effective planning and controls technique (earned value, quantity analysis, cost and schedule variance, critical path analysis, schedule and cost forecast)
- Lead Project Controls setup and system deployments across WSP projects to maintain scope compliance and reporting governance.
- Influence project managers and team members to effectively use tools and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate governance, business system, quality and risk management obligations.
- Develop and implement robust and consistent Project Controls system across WSP projects
- Ensure all essential project, financial and business data is kept up to date.
- Support in maintaining project data integrity
- Support the development of project specific system solutions
- Provide audit service to various project systems throughout the project lifetime
- Guide project delivery to achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ensure all client interactions are conducted in accordance with our values and code of conduct.
- Tertiary Qualifications
- Typically 10-15 years' experience, typically 18-36 months experience on site, with 3+ years on complex projects (eg JV, Alliance etc)
- Project management training
- Experience in managing full project lifecycle
- Experience in construction/site and engineering/design
- Completed audits on systems
- Completed audits on projects
- Experience in fee estimates, tenders, contracts, claims, variations and EoT, projecturement, schedule preparation, schedule integration and schedule analysis, risk analysis and modelling and risk workshop facilitation.
- Competent in complying with applicable legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
- Competent in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of project management systems
- Develop internal and external networks with key colleagues and clients
