About the teamRetail Ready Operations Australia (RROA) is the first Coles owned retail ready meat facility. Based at Erskine Park, our site is highly automated, sophistipcated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores' network.
About the roleAs the Control Room Supervisor, you will support the Shift Manager in maintaining the flow of operation within the outbound department through the successful coordination of safety, staff resources and performance as well as ensuring that orders, inventory, MHE and general equipment together with systems and procedures are maanged according to company policy and porcedures at all times. You will also manage the day-to-day automated warehouse system.
The shift is Afternoons from Tuedsay - Saturday
You'll also:
Supervise and control the Shift Handover process to ensure compliance and document control is in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures
Oversee inventory in warehouse, liaising with key stakeholders to maximise DIFOT and minimise write offs
Manage orders to ensure orders are dropped on time with no ageing transport orders
Manage staff roters, ensuring shift resources are managed in advance of start of shift
Lead and coach the team through safety programs providing adherence to all Workplace Health & Safety policies and targets
About you and your skills
We're seeking an experienced Supervisor, with sound knowledge in team management and previous experience in a fresh product/ low shelf-life processing facility.
You'll also have
- A Forklift Licence
- Strong system skills, especially around Excel and WMS systems
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations, materials handling equipment (MHE), warehouse systems
- Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility guidelines and customer deliverables and risk/failure impact(s)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks in a high pressure environment
