What you will be doing
- Managing the day to day operational activities of our Victoria and Tasmania branches.
- Demonstrating visible HSE leadership and championing a positive HSE culture.
- Providing leadership and direction to the branch operational teams.
- Ensuring employees are motivated and engaged.
- Ensuring a safety and customer first ethos is maintained at all times.
- Managing costs in line with budgets.
- Developing strategies to continually improve processes.
- Working collaboratively with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Ensuring inventory and stock levels are strategically planned and ordered.
- Leading project work in relation to the development and implementation of new plant and processes.
- Maintaining and managing relationships with major customers, depots and distributors.
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering will be highly regarded.
- Proven production/logistics management and leadership experience - preferably within chemical, industrial or technical operations.
- Experience managing supplier relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with people at all levels.
- A passion for delivering outstanding results.
