Control Systems Engineer - ABB experience - FIFO PNG

Several exciting new projects are 'in the pipeline' and the need has been identified for a highly capable Control Systems Engineer to join their busy Brisbane team, initially working on a FIFO role in PNG before reverting to local project work.The RoleYou are joining a team with a real edge and a reputation for high quality solutions. Your role will support the design and delivery agendas of important global clients as well as gaining certifications and growing your capabilities; eventually leading to opportunities to step up into more senior positions within the organisation. You will have the opportunity to travel to many locations around the world, being involved in innovative and interesting projects across diverse industry areas.Your role will initially rotate in and out of PNG on a major mining project. On top of a solid base package, whilst site based, you will earn additional site allowances, have all meals and accommodation provided, plus flights in and out of PNG.Skills and ExperienceDue to the specific nature of the role, only individuals with relevant skills will be considered.

• Deep DCS/PLC experience is mandatory.
• ABB experience is valued, though experience with one of the other major vendor products will be considered
• You must have had mine site experience
• You are a highly competent written and verbal communicator.
• You are motivated to learn and continue your development and above else want to innovate and deliver great solutions.
• You MUST be able to travel to the far reaches of planet earth.
• Experience with any flavour of DCS, PLC or SCADA is mandatory.
