- Contract length: 12-month contracts - on-going extensions and fixed term options available.
- Sportsmans roster – 12-hour shifts (night shift involved) - 4-5, 5-4, 5-5 roster working approx. 168hrs a month.

I am currently on the hunt for an experienced individual to join an innovative team as a Control Systems Engineer with one of Western Australia’s largest mining giants.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems. As part of the dynamic team, you'll tackle breakdowns, optimize performance, and spearhead minor improvement projects to enhance plant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Control Systems support to breakdown and production critical issues, encompassing automated train loading, dumping, stacking, screening, crushing, reclaiming and ship loading operations
- Investigate and identify the root causes of related Control Systems downtime and identify and execute solutions to prevent events from re-occurring
- Deliver minor improvement projects (PLCs/SCADA) as applicable to optimise and improve plant performance
- Provide support using Allen Bradley PLC’s, GE PLC’s, Schneider PLC’s and Citect SCADA system
