Our client is a leading provider of innovative, national automation engineering solutions to the power and renewables, mining and water sectors. With a commitment to providing expert assistance and leading-edge technology in service delivery, they are seeking a Brisbane-based Team Lead to manage their project team functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operationally lead teams of Control Systems Engineers and Technicians to deliver mainly medium and large sized projects for customers in power and renewables, mining and water projects
- Run the rule across project design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, sector standards and industry regulations
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team and customers
- Meet with client-side contacts to understand their ongoing project needs
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are maintained
- Review team activity from a service delivery perspective
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in technical, operational or team lead roles within Control systems engineering
- Sector experience in power and renewables, mining or water
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Lead motivated teams of Engineers in the middle of Brisbane
