Key Responsibilities:

  • Controls System Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Control Systems for production equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Program Development: Develop and modify programmable logic controller (PLC) programs to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Control Systems with new and existing equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance overall system performance.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring production goals are met.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of control system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in controls systems, PLC programming, and automation.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Education: Relevant technical degree or certification in controls engineering, automation, or a related field.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot control system issues efficiently.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
