Control Systems Technology P/L (CST) is a long established Australian owned company being manufacturers of conveyor Belt Scale infrastructure (www.controlsystems.com.au)
We are looking for a Service Technician to grow our well-regarded NSW service team. The ideal applicant will be a self-motivated person who is able to provide our clients with a high level of technical support and customer service. As this role involves visiting Clients’ premises and sites, professional and friendly attitude and manners are essential for dealing with the Clients while representing CST.
CST will provide all the training you need for this role.
This is a permanent, full time position that offers competitive hourly rates, good work life balance and an opportunity to develop your skills with the support of our long standing technicians and the management team. With the right attitude and willingness to learn you will be set up for success. Applicant will be based in Revesby head office. Travelling NSW at time which requires a few nights away from home which CST takes care of all accommodation and travel expenses. Some interstate and overseas travel at busy times
Company Vehicle, phone, laptop, uniform, and tools of the trade will be supplied to the successful applicant

The role of a Service Technician includes but is not limited to:
- Calibration, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment, with low voltage electrical testing
- Parts fitting and installation work
- Working on flagship mines sites and ship loading ports across NSW
- Producing detailed reports
- Helping improve our systems of work
- Sending electronic data and reports from site
- Working within a QA service system
The successful applicant would have the following attributes:
- Service focused attitude
- Mechanical aptitude
- Electrical/Electronic appreciation
- Trade qualifications preferable
- Strong focus on safety
- Able to operate within a team
- Is self managed / able to work autonomously and flexibly as there can be times where work will require travel across NSW
- Good clear communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Well presented
- Intermediate Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office programs
Further prerequisites for the position:
- Open drivers’ license – at least Class ”C”
- Pass a Coal Board Medical and physical fitness test.
Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
