Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Controlling department produces the month end financial information to a high standard in accordance with required reporting legislations and within the corporate deadlines(including the annual financial statements are prepared, signed and lodged).
- Manage account reconciliation process (Preparation & Review) to ensure strong supporting evidence is maintained for all Balance Sheet account balances
- Manage the working relationship and audit process with the external auditors
- Ensure compliance with local tax legislation, authorities (VAT & Corporate Tax) and internal GY Transfer Pricing policies.
- Support compliance with the internal controls framework designed and approved by the Internal Controls Team (RACM procedures) and makes recommentations in case internal controls could be improved
- Liaise cross-functionally within Finance to understand the forecasts for future business performance, assist with the preparation of variance analysis and ensure Internal Control activities are maintained and adhered to where applicable
To Join Our Team You Will Need
- 8-10 years of experience relevant to finance and accounting with continuously increased responsibility.
- Strong knowledge in accounting principles for both local and US GAAP/IFRS
- Deep understanding of accounting procedures, business processes and operations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and German
- Business Administration Degree or equivalent (MBA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent - nice to have)
