Role DescriptionWe are seeking a proficient Conveyancing Paralegal or Senior Conveyancer to manage residential conveyancing files from start to settlement. This pivotal role allows for autonomous work while being part of a collaborative team focused on delivering superior client service.
Key Responsibilities- Perusal and analysis of contracts.
- Direct communications with clients to ensure a seamless service.
- Preparation and dispatch of initial and final client correspondence.
- Conducting online property searches and diligent follow-up on outstanding conditions.
- Generating settlement statements and managing PEXA settlements.
- Comprehensive file management including documentation and general administrative duties.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Conveyancer within Queensland, demonstrating a thorough understanding of local property law is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple files efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relations with clients and colleagues.
- High proficiency in digital conveyancing platforms and general IT systems.
- No legal qualifications required. Commissioner for Declarations or JP (Qual) favourable.
- Experience with LEAP legal software is desired.
- Proficiency in utilising office software, particularly MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Strong organisational and time management competencies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication proficiencies.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, working both independently and within a team.
The Offer:
- A competitive salary ranging between $60,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation, based on experience.
